About Us

Preparing animals for adoption

Whether they have just arrived, are currently undergoing medical treatment, or are waiting to be adopted, every animal deserves a warm bed and shelter. Here at Ballball Pet, our staff and volunteers work to ensure that every animal is loved and cared for on their journey to finding a new home.

15 Yr

Experience

  • Matching people and pets
  • Preparing animals for their new life
  • Find a suitable place to call home

Matching the right home with the right animal is essential. A person’s lifestyle, property and experience with animals are all important factors that are considered before an adoption is approved. Our animal teams and volunteers work hard to ensure that every animal finds the best forever home for them.

We are adopting the following three-pronged strategy.

See How SoBe Cats can Help

Ballball Pet is a 100% volunteer 501c3 nonprofit that assists the City of Palm Beach with controlling the Miami Beach homeless community cat&dog population via a three-pronged approach:

Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return (TNVR)

We help facilitate TNVR for Community Cats Remaining Outside via connecting the need with our volunteer Trappers and holding periodic TNVR events at The Kitty Campus location in conjunction with Miami Dade Animal Service’s Mobile Animal Clinic.

Registered Feeder Program

We help our Community Cats&Dogs Live Outside with Love. We count on our Registered Feeders to not only feed and provide fresh water to the cats&dogs, but to also make us aware of any cats&dogs that have not been spayed/neutered (noted by a snip in the cats&dogs left ear), so we can work with that Feeder to educate on TNVR (Trap Neuter/Spay Vaccinate Return) options.

Adoption

We Spay/Neuter and place friendly, adoptable Community Cats&Dogs and Kittens&Puppies into our Adoption Program at THE KITTY&Puppies CAMPUS location so that we can find them a safe and loving home and get them off the streets. In order to put the kitties up for adoption we must take them through a brief quarantine process where they are dewormed, vaccinated, given flea medication, etc.
